February is always a hive of activity in Norwich as makers of all different kinds gather at The Forum to showcase their work and most importantly to let the public try out new and old methods of making. The Nest Project hosted a packed-out drop-in work shop in willow weaving. Working with willow is one of our favourite mediums – in the low winter light the golden yellows and green shine – enough to banish the winter blues. Making your own basket, bird feeder, shape or pattern in willow is soooo satisfying. Look at what we made!
