Clare Castle and Country Park is one of our ongoing partners.  A recent Heritage Lottery Grant for the site (which includes remains of a medieval castle and Victorian railway) is helping improve facilities and increase public engagement at the park.  We ran an “Art in the Park” morning for under 4s in association with Care Bears Nursery.  Look at the absolutely delightful results as the children hunted for tressure in the woods and then created an abstract design inside a large outdoors wooden frame.  To finish the session, everyone worked together to create a giant slow worm (Clare Park has one of the largest slow worm populations in the country).

We will be working with Clare Castle and Country Park over the next year to train their volunteers to run outdoors art sessions and to create a beautiful den building and sculpture area in their wooded area beside the river.
